We’re proud to announce that NAMI Florida’s Blueberry Horseshoe 5k (BH5k) is the 6th race in the Big Hammock Race Series, an 11-month Marion County, Florida Run/Walk Fitness Challenge! The BH5k is designated as the 1st of 2 races in the Lucky Charm Challenge, bringing series participants 1-step closer to earning the Lucky Charm Challenge Medal. Plus, the Blueberry Horseshoe is the final “Super Race” in the series, which awards huge points for completing our race! VOLUNTEERS:
As a Volunteer for the Blueberry Horseshoe 5k, you’ll enjoy being a part of a large fundraiser for NAMI Florida. We need volunteers to prepare for the race before & on the day of the race. All volunteers must be pre-approved & will be assigned tasks. All volunteers will be contacted at least 2-weeks prior to the event & given their assignment(s). All Volunteers must register for the event online.
When registering, if you represent a Publix Store, please select your store #. If you are not with Publix, please only select "Place me where I am needed" -OR- any "Open" volunteer station.
We also need Volunteer Captains who will leads volunteer groups. Captains must also be available on 1/27/17 at 9:00a - 11:00a to receive training at the race location & instructions about the tasks their team will need to perform. This extra effort will ensure a smooth & fun event for everyone.
